Managers Corner
General Practice and Game Day Resources
Resources for BOTH managers and parents
Please review these resources to ensure you are fully prepared to assist with practice AND home game operations. Managers should plan ahead by signing up parents to work the scheduled home games and scheduling locker room monitors for all games and practices.
Game Sheets
Game Sheet is a digital hockey game scoring platform that replaces the traditional paper score sheet. Being digital all scores, stats, rosters, and more are uploaded to the Game Sheet cloud platform.
Scoreboard
Don't fear the clock - it just takes a little practice.
Take a few minutes to watch the tutorial video, and don’t hesitate to head to the rink during your child’s practice to practice the clock — you’ll get the hang of it in no time!
LRM
A gender-appropriate LOCKER ROOM MONITOR must be present at all times.
Any male guardian for a boys team or female guardian for a girls team must complete SafeSport training and a background check to serve as a LRM.
District 15 TEAM MANAGER
Rink Side Buzz
We love sharing what our teams are up to and would like updates somewhat regularly throughout the season. While this doesn’t need to happen every week, we encourage managers to send updates whenever there’s something fun, exciting, or worth highlighting.
This helps us keep our social media up to date and showcase all of our wonderful teams.
Great ideas include: tournament updates, weekend recaps, big wins or milestones, highlight reels, behind-the-bench moments, team spirit, and team-building activities.
Please text our Social Media Coordinator, Andrea Nyberg, at 320-808-6644 with:
- A photo and/or video of your team
- Team name and team sponsor
- A short write-up or summary
Shutout Wall
Do you know a goalie (s) who earned a full game shutout during a regular season game or during tournament game? Let others know about how well they are playing by having their shutout added to this wall.
