Youth Hockey Program
The Alexandria Area Hockey Association youth hockey program is built on developing athletes both on and off the ice, providing a fun, competitive, and supportive environment for players. Registration for the 2026-2027 season opens June 14, 2026 at 10am.
Ages
Ages 4-16
When
Season begins with tryouts for travel ages in October and runs until playoffs in February-early March. Mite level players start at the end of October.
Where
Practices and home games are held at the PrimeWest RCC or NorthStar Sports Complex. Games may be played across Minnesota and North Dakota.
Practices
Travel Teams practice 2-4 times per week, depending on age level.
Jerseys
Jerseys are provided at the Mite level but are individually owned at the travel level.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Travel costs for hotels, gas, and food at the travel levels.
